Hello, I am Vickie Kersten, a 21-year resident of Idaho and former resident of a liberal area of Oregon. I have seven adult children and 11 grandchildren. As a long-time Republican, I enjoy gardening and playing the viola in our church orchestra. I have also been actively involved in politics, having canvassed my precinct for various candidates and issues. I look forward to engaging with fellow Republican voters in my precinct to encourage their participation in the political process.

Married for 37 years to Melissa, we have 5 sons and are long time residents of Nampa. We are members of Christian Faith Center for over 25 years. I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran, now retired, a lifetime conservative and 3 time Trump supporter. I’ve been a precinct committeeman since 2024.

Kirsten Lucas serves as a PC and District 13 Chair with the Canyon County Republican Central Committee. She is actively engaged in grassroots organization, voter outreach, and supporting Republican initiatives across the district. In addition, Lucas serves as a Chief Election Judge during the May and November elections, overseeing polling operations and helping ensure a fair, accurate, and efficient voting process. She is dedicated to strengthening civic participation and representing her community with integrity. Kirsten is a Believer, married to Jay for 31 years, homeschooled their 8 children, and has 6 grandchildren.

Carrie Bowers has been a 44-13 Precinct Committeeman (PC) for three years. Tom Lilly has been the alternate. This May, Tom is running as PC, and Carrie Bowers will be the alternate. Carrie has also been in charge of the Nampa Farmers Market Republican Booth for 2 years and an Election Judge. Tom served in the United States Navy, playing trombone and singing for four years with the US Navy Band. During that time, he deployed on two aircraft carriers and a destroyer escort for sea duty. After his military service, he completed a Music Education degree at NNU, then a Master’s in Music Education at the University of North Texas. While in Texas, Tom served in the Texas Air National Guard.
After teaching at Boise HS and Nampa Christian HS, Tom entered into the world of local politics, serving 6 years as a Nampa City Councilman, 12 years as Nampa Mayor, then 6 years as Canyon County Commissioner. Currently, Tom teaches trombone at NNU and plays in various music groups throughout the valley. He also serves as Chairman of the USS IDAHO SSN 799 Commissioning Committee, Southwest Region, and gives educational presentations throughout the region to schools, service clubs, and Chambers of Commerce.
